$25,000 Study: Clarence-Rockland Public Library: Expand? Build A New Facility?

The Clarence-Rockland Public Library is increasingly short of space due to rapid population growth. To find a solution, City Council has granted $25,000 to conduct a study that will determine whether to expand the existing facilities or build a new branch. According to the executive director, Catherina Moskau, the premises are often full and the library can no longer meet all the needs of the community. The library has also been managing the Clarence-Rockland Museum since last April, which expands its cultural role.
