The Town of Hawkesbury will carry out emergency work today between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The work will affect the Laflèche and Gascon street sectors, and will result in a temporary interruption of drinking water. When service returns, the water could be reddish without posing a health hazard, so residents will have to let the cold water run for about five minutes.
