Crossfit Rush Rockland’s WOD A THON campaign which took place over the weekend, raised enough money for one week’s of groceries for the Rockland Help Centre. Not only did they exceed their goal of $3000, they exceeded their reach goal of $4000 to raise a total of $7,385.
Throughout the 24 hour period, Crossfit Rush maintained about 24 participants for the first 10 workouts after that, about 15 participants who stayed committed for the entire 24 workouts. This year, they had 6 teens from their program stay the entire event.
Between workouts, those that participated played boardgames, read books, and some even crafts.
